Our Programs

#Handprint’s First Steps

Our organization will provide care packages to children in resource care that contain essential supplies, such as clothing, toiletries, and school supplies. These care packages will be designed to meet the specific needs of each child and help them feel more comfortable and secure in their new environment.

Our Programs

  • #handprint's mentorship programs pair children in foster care with positive and supportive adult mentors who help them build healthy relationships, develop life skills, and pursue their goals. Our mentors are carefully screened, trained, and matched with children based on shared interests and backgrounds. Through regular one-on-one meetings, group activities, and special events, our mentorship programs provide children with consistent support and guidance that can help them thrive and reach their full potential.

  • #handprint's life skills training programs help children in foster care develop the practical skills and knowledge they need to navigate the challenges of adulthood. Our programs cover a range of topics, from financial literacy and job readiness to personal hygiene and social skills. We use evidence-based approaches and hands-on learning experiences to help children build confidence, independence, and resilience.
